Estrella Village in Maricopa county Phoenix, Arizona was developed as the center for industrial, commercial and agricultural enterprise. Twenty thousand nine hundred ninety eight housing units have been constructed in Estrella Village. There were 7,132 built between 2000 and 2009 and another 498 in 2010 or later. Estrella Village is only 15-20 minutes from downtown Phoenix, and just like any other village in Phoenix, a portion of Estrella has established a neighborhood which is a reflection of the rich history and colorful past of the area.
It is also home to the Mountain Ranch Marketplace, a shopping and dining complex which is set to become the primary retail center of Estrella Village. You can also get a glimpse of the majestic view of the Estrella Mountains, one of the most rugged mountain ranges in Arizona.
