Central City in Phoenix, Arizona is an urban village that has a population of 43,357 (as of 2019). It is located in the county of Maricopa with the Elementary School Districts of Balsz, Creighton, Murphy, Phoenix, Roosevelt, Tempe, & Wilson and the Secondary School Districts of Phoenix and Tempe. According to statistics, 75.24% workers here in Central City are white collar employees while the other 24.7% are blue collar employees. 

 

In terms of the housing units, there are about 17,850 of them with 2,090 built between 2000 & 2009 and 961 built in 2010 or later. Central City village is well known for being located in Phoenix’s historic center. Because of this, there are a good number of old homes and buildings that reflect the rich history of Phoenix. The seat of state, Maricopa county and city government is also found here in Central City. It is also home to the Sky Harbor International Airport, Arizona’s busiest airport.
